MAJN Endowment Fund for the Arts
There is a nationwide epidemic of students singing in choruses and ensembles never having received one note of vocal instruction. Make a Joyful Noise Endowment Fund for the Arts was established in 2007 for the purpose of providing private and public school children the opportunity to learn the basic principles that govern sound vocal production through the medium of Make a Joyful Noise Vocal Workshops. Our goal: to teach 1 million middle school and high school students how to sing “the Free Voice way!”
To the disappointment (or perhaps misunderstanding) of parents, vocal instruction is seldom if ever taught in public and private school chorus or music classes. MAJN provides both public and private school settings, 1 to 2.5 hour workshops (depending on the choice of school faculty) that will advance a student's singing experience from benign and mediocre to a perpetual path of dynamic vocal growth!
Workshops cost students as little as $10.00 per student. Students unable to pay, attend FREE of charge. We also include the MAJN Workbook which includes all workshop notes, the basic fundamental of singing, and Free Voice exercises that give students the tools needed to continue a perpetual path of voice building. To help provide this wonderful gift of music, we receive tax deductible contributions from corporate sponsors, individuals and lovers of music education and children. We ask you to extend your giving to the MAJN Endowment Fund for the Arts for this very important ministry/cause. There are many ways to give:
